EVme conducts Test Drive for AION Y Plus and becomes 1st official online store in Thailand aiming at pushing towards full-fledged EV society

EVme Plus Co., Ltd, Thailand's largest total solution platform for EV rental, organized test drives event for the AION, the newly launched EV brand in Thailand. The event aimed at boosting consumer confidence in those looking for EVs and catering to the growing interest in EVs among new-age consumers. In addition, EVME PLUS has been selected by Gold Integrate Co., Ltd. to be the first official online store for AION with light maintenance and repair services through partnership with FIT Auto.

 

Mr. Suvicha Sudchai, CEO and Managing Director of EVme Plus Co., Ltd, a company established by Arun Plus Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of PTT Group, addressed on becoming the official online store for the distribution of AION Y Plus model and the test drive event.

The newly launched AION Y Plus is the Standard Range Plus model, a 5-door crossover SUV. It boasts a modern exterior design highlighted by striking LED headlights with an elegant inner light pattern. AION aptly describes these headlights as 'angel wings.' The front end features a solid grille design unique to EVs, with a lower air vent for improved front-end aerodynamics. In terms of the battery, the vehicle is powered by Lithium-Iron Phosphate battery with Magazine technology known for its high level of safety. The battery has a capacity of 60 kWh, providing a maximum range of 490 kilometers on a single charge according to NEDC testing standards. The spacious interior cabin is equipped with a large 14.6-inch touchscreen display that controls various vehicle functions. The driver has a 10.25-inch display behind the steering wheel for driving-related information.

 

Mr. Yong Chia Wang, chairman of Gold Integrate Co., Ltd., one of the four official GAC vehicle distributors in Thailand, stated “By the end of 2023, it is anticipated that GAC vehicle sales in Thailand, among all official distributors, will range from 4,000 to 6,000 units and will be 18,000 units in 2024. As for Gold Integrate Co., Ltd., it is estimated that they will sell 1,000 GAC vehicles in 2023. They also plan to introduce two EV models this year and expand their lineup to include more models in 2024. It is also expected that they will open approximately 20 showrooms in Thailand."

 

“FIT Auto will collaborate with EVme to provide light maintenance and maintenance services by mileage. Currently, FIT Auto has 91 branches located both within and outside PTT gas stations. In the coming year, there are plans to expand the number of branches nationwide.
