About ISO
The story of Iso starts right after World War II when Isothermos, manufacturer of fridges, decides to start developing motorcycles to meet the rapidly growing economy and demand of the Italian people for affordable transportation in urban centers.
Between the 1950’s and 1960’s, Iso came out with the Isomoto 125 and Isoscooter which then competed with Piaggio’s Vepsa as well as Lambretta. Around the same time, Iso started developing a small car that will become of the most famous machines in automotive history - the Isetta. The Isetta was then licensed to BMW.
Today, Iso has been revived by Ferruccio Lamborghini, third generation of the Lamborghini family. With his passion in motorcycles and an Italian Moto2 Championship title under his belt, Ferruccio wants to bring the passion and joy of motorcycling in the world of electric mobility. The journey starts with the UNO-X.
